Sentek launches commercial division

Sentek Consulting, a provider of government and commercial IT security and consulting programs, recently launched a commercial division to help companies meet federal and industry regulatory requirements for security information systems.

The division focuses on securing and defending information systems, global wide and local area networks, telecommunications and facilities for medium-sized, U.S.-based multi-national companies in the healthcare, finance, retail and educational markets.

The commercial division launched in February and focuses on the following:

Information Assurance – Comprehensive security assessment; risk management planning; compliance and change auditing; and quarterly security reviews.

Managed Security Services – Secure remote access and collaboration suite, cell-dual factor authentication and firewall virtual private network and wide area network failover.

Global Real-time Networks – Network assessment and design, hybrid terrestrial, wireless networks, application interconnect services and business continuity implementation.
Staffing and Support – Branded pre-sales tech support, security and compliance training, advanced security remediation and temporary IT and project support.
