Solar technology companies to experience bubble burst like dot-coms, experts say

For companies like AMSOLAR, the concern is perception when large solar companies fail, Weinstein said. The failure of large solar companies may lead people to believe the technology also not sound. The solar industry in San Diego is “alive and well” and businesses must do a better job of educating the public. “All of us in the solar business need to do a better job of taking the mystique out of the solar industry,” Weinstein said.
