San Diego-based Sentek Global opened its fourth office in Charleston, S.C. to be closer to perform system engineering and information assurance work for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Atlantic.

"We've been expanding our services for the agency's offices there, and it made a great deal of sense to have a permanent presence in the area," said Vice President of Command and Control Systems for Sentek Global Andrew Nugent, who will also head up the company's Charleston operations.

Sentek Global creates information technology regarding security, program management, strategic consulting, engineering, software development and acquisition support for both government and commercial uses.

Its services include IT security assessments, control system engineering, and the design and implementaion of technology for military commands.
