Ok, I’ll admit it. I’m a big fan of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I’ll even go a step further and disclose that I follow Adrienne Maloof on Twitter. After all, she’s the most rational, drama-free housewife on the show and extremely business savvy. For those of you unfamiliar, Adrienne, her mother and brother’s make up the Maloof Family Dynasty which includes the Sacramento Kings, Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Sweeping Palms Entertainment and the Maloof Money Cup.
As I was scrolling through my “fun” column on Twitter, I came across a tweet by Adrienne that I think other entrepreneurs should really try and keep in mind at all times:
“One of the things my dad really stressed with us is that you have to know your business inside out. You don’t have to do every job all by yourself, but you have to truly know WHAT the job entails in order to hire the best person possible to do it. For that reason, I think it is so important to never stop learning about the business you are in. Because when you decide you know everything, you know nothing.”
May these words of wisdom by my favorite housewife make you work harder to understand all facets of your business and never stop learning.
